Many years as a home-design magazine content creator blessed me with travels to rural pockets of America. The beauty of these regions astounded me and kicked-started my art quest. The images I portray are rendered in oil paint, watercolor, and ink.  Surfaces are illustration board, canvas remnant, or sturdy paper. Most are small, from postcard to wall calendar size.  And all are of locales that catch my eye for their rustic textures, patinated colors, or hidden hues -- a rarity amongst today's monotonous, cookie-cutter structures.
